Dr. Wu Chende

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Wu has over 40 years of clinical experience in Chinese medicine. From 1959 until 1989 he served as Director of the Shanghai College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as Professor and Medical Doctor-In-Chief of the Long Hua Hospital in Shanghai, China. In 1989 Dr. Wu relocated to Houston, Texas, where he opened his current private practice.

 

A highly respected member of the Chinese medical community, Dr. Wu has been extremely active in promoting all aspects of (the benefits of) Traditional Chinese Medicine. His titles include Director of the Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medical Association, Former Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Traumatology Association, Committee Member of the Shanghai Rehabilitation Medicine Association, and Committee Member of Shanghai Sports Medicine Association.

 

An avid proponent of physical exercise to maintain good health, Dr. Wu is a Committee Member of the All Chinese Wushu Society, Advisor to the U.S.A. Wushu Kung Fu Federation and Honorary Advisor to the Martial Arts of China Historical Society.

 

Dr. Wu holds an Honouris Degree of Doctor of Science from Euro technical Research University. He is also the author of many articles on Traditional Chinese Medicine and Qi Gong.

 

At his office in Houston, Texas, Dr. Wu treats his patients using a variety of techniques, including acupuncture, acupressure, therapeutic massage, herbology and qi gong. He is licensed by the Texas Board of Acupuncturists.
